Sustained fatal injuries when, as part of a two vehicle convoy, the unmarked police car in which he was a passenger, overturned after the driver lost control as they travelled at high speed in the emergency lane to Johannesburg Airport, while in South Africa, with other officers, to extradite two murder suspects.
