Died from injuries sustained on 20 August whilst the passenger in a police car that was travelling on the Aberdeen to Stonehaven road when an opposing vehicle went out of control, crossed the carriageway and struck the police vehicle head on.
Died from injuries sustained four days earlier when the police car in which he was the passenger, on the Aberdeen to Stonehaven road, was struck head on by a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction after it went out of control and crossed the carriageway. His colleague, PC James McHardy, was killed in the accident.
