Incident
DC Grew was fatally injured when, about 6:15pm, his car was in collision with a double-decker bus at the Scotney Castle roundabout on the A21 in Lamberhurst as he travelled home from duty.
DC Grew had recently left a post in Tonbridge to join the Serious Crime Directorate in north Kent.
He was “a popular and talented officer with huge potential” and “an excellent detective”.
He leaves a wife and a baby son.
