Incident
PC Odell was carrying out road safety checks in Shottendane Road, Margate, just after midnight, when the driver of a speeding vehicle ignored his signal to stop.
The car struck the officer at about 50mph and dragged him fifty yards along the road, causing him massive internal injuries from which he died.
