Incident
In the early hours of the morning, Sergeant Little was attempting to rescue an 83-year-old lady trapped in a burning house at Seaham Harbour. Having reached her, Robert was dragging her to safety when they both perished. Posthumously awarded the King’s Police Medal for Gallantry.
