Sr. Cst. Phil Shrive died as a result of injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on May 16, 2003 near Renfrew Ontario. Phil began his policing career with the OPP in September 1974 and has been stationed at the Renfrew Detachment since 1999. As we start 2026, we can look back and note that we have been very fortunate to not have lost anyone in Canada to a Line of Duty Death (LODD) these last two years.
