Incident

Prior to joining the NWMP, Special Constable Carter was a carpenter. He was posted at Hamilton, Ontario. On September 30, 1910, he was discharged to pension as a Constable from the RNWMP and hired as a Special Constable to guide the patrol for the trip from McPherson to Dawson.
