Incident
Cst. Paul Neudert and his partner were driving to the Petrolia OPP office to do office work when they were involved in a MVA just north of Wallaceburg Ontario. Cst. Neudert died in the crash. He served six years with the Walpole Police Department and Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Police. He is survived by his wife and two young children. Cst. Neudert is the first Walpole police officer to die on duty. As we start 2026, we can look back and note that we have been very fortunate to not have lost anyone in Canada to a Line of Duty Death (LODD) these last two years.
