Incident
Cst. Audi was born in Lebanon and moved to Canada with his parents in 1987. The family settled in Brantford, Ontario. Cst. Audi played soccer and volleyball and could read, write, and speak Arabic fluently. Cst. Audi became a Drug Abuse Resistance Instructor for elementary students. He was known to have a good sense of humour and was a great contributor to his community. Cst. Audi always made time for his family and really enjoyed his work - especially being able to work with the youth. He organized volleyball and basketball games where the youth could play against the Mounties. Cst. Audi saw a traffic infraction and proceeded to execute a U-turn. The car behind him stopped but a tour bus swerved to go around the car and rammed into the police car. Cst. Audi is buried in a special Muslim section of Brantford's Oak Hill Cemetery.
