Incident

Son of Ernest L. and Hazel L. Stackhouse, of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Mounties Police on January 8, 1934. After training, he was assigned chauffeur duties in Ottawa, Ontario. Cst. Stackhouse served with the mounted patrol in Regina, and in 1939, he was assigned general duties in Estevan, Saskatchewan. Cst. Stackhouse volunteered for the Provost Corps in 1940. In the Books of Remembrance Second World War Book of Remembrance
