Incident
Sergeant Webb Miller was shot and killed in Omaha, Nebraska, after chasing a stolen taxi over the Missouri River and across the state line from Council Bluffs. During the ensuing shootout Sergeant Miller shot and killed the man but received a head wound and succumbed to the wound the following day. Sergeant Miller had served with the Council Bluffs Police Department for 11 years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife and five children.
