Incident
Chief Rowan suffered a fatal heart attack while assisting at the scene of a severe accident with injuries. The ambulance had just left, taking a victim to the hospital, when the chief experienced chest pains and called for assistance from his patrol car radio. By the time other rescue workers arrived at the scene the chief had passed away.
