Incident

Cst. Audi was on duty driving an unmarked police vehicle on Hwy. 99 near Squamish. While attempting to complete a U-turn to go after a violator his police vehicle was broadsided by a bus, killing him almost instantly. Cst. Audi had activated his emergency equipment but that was not seen by the bus driver. As we start 2026, we can look back and note that we have been very fortunate to not have lost anyone in Canada to a Line of Duty Death (LODD) these last two years.
