Incident
Sergeant Steven Dodson suffered a heart attack while at home after completing his shift in which he conducted multiple traffic stops and responded to several calls for service.
He was transported to a local hospital after complaining of chest pains.
Sgt. Dodson, On today, the 8th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Collier County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
