Three other officers, Inspector William James Wilson and Constables David James Ronald Baird and Tracy Ellen Doak, were also killed in the explosion that, shortly before 10:00am, destroyed their armour-plated patrol car as they escorted a security vehicle taking money to a bank in Belfast.
