Incident
On the evening on 6th April 1946 he was at the crossroads at Ixworth when a motorcar struck him. He was taken to Ixworth Police Station then to hospital with severe head injuries. He died the following day.
Died in hospital from the severe head injuries he sustained the previous evening when he was struck by a car while on duty at the crossroads at Ixworth.
