Incident

Police Officer Ronnie Williams was shot and killed during a robbery while he was working a secondary employment assignment at a local restaurant at 4952 Bullard Avenue. His regular duty partner and her associate robbed the restaurant and fatally shot him. Two restaurant employees were also murdered. The perpetrators, including Officer Williams' partner, were apprehended and sentenced to death for the murders. Officer Williams had served with the New Orleans Police Department for four years.

Survivors

He is survived by his wife and two young children.
