Ronald M. Medeiros Sr.
Incident
Police Officer Ronald Medeiros was killed in a single-vehicle crash during a pursuit on State Route 22 at 12:15 p.m.
While assisting the Springfield Police Department with the pursuit, his patrol car went out of control, ran off the road, and flipped several times.
Officer Medeiros was a United States Army veteran and had served in law enforcement for 30 years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife, three daughters, two sons, parents, two sisters, five brothers, and ten grandchildren.
