Incident

Officer Robert Roulston was killed in a motorcycle crash when he struck a vehicle that made a left turn in front of Katella Avenue, between State College Avenue and Howell Street, adjacent to Anaheim Stadium. He was working on a special assignment at a California Rams football game at the Anaheim Stadium at the time of the incident. No charges were filed against the driver who caused the accident. Officer Roulston was a United States Army veteran of Vietnam and served 15 years with the Anaheim Police Department.

Survivors

He was survived by his wife, son, brother and sister.
