Incident
Deputy Pollock died after suffering a heart attack while involved in a building search training exercise with other deputies. The temperature was in excess of 95 degrees that day and Deputy Pollock was wearing a bullet-resistant vest. He was pronounced dead at the local hospital approximately one hour after suffering the heart attack.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife and daughter.
