Patrolman Robert Karsmizki was shot and killed following the high-speed pursuit of a murder suspect. The suspect was shot and killed by an auxiliary officer. Patrolman Karsmizki had served with the Ohio State Highway Patrol for 9 years and was stationed at the Bucyrus Post.
