During his career, he was stationed in various locations within Saskatchewan. Constable Bourgoin enjoyed his work as a police officer. His family included his wife, Donna, and their three children: Richelle, Edward, and Jolene. Constable Bourgoin is buried at the RCMP cemetery at "Depot" Division.
