Officer Raymond Geiger was killed in a motorcycle crash while reporting to work. He had just left home when a vehicle struck him head-on and crashed into a house on La Cadena Drive. Officer Geiger was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

He was survived by his wife, child, parents, five brothers, and five sisters.
