Incident
Officer Phillip Farshman succumbed to injuries he received when he collided with a car at the corner of Third Street and Wallace Avenue on February 12, 1946.
Officer Farshman was pursuing a speeder when his motorcycle was struck. He was transported to San Francisco Hospital with head injuries.
Officer Frashman had served with the San Francisco Police Department for at least 10 years.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife, son, two daughters, mother, and sister.
