Incident
Died eighteen months after sustaining extensive injuries, from which he never recovered when, on 3rd July 2015, his motorcycle was struck by a car travelling at excessive speed on the wrong side of the road on the Birkenhead flyover, as he travelled to report for night duty. PC Briggs joined Merseyside Police in 2004 after leaving the British Army.
Survivors
He is survived by his wife and their daughter.
