Incident
Officer Louis Spry was killed when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle that turned in front of him as he attempted to stop a vehicle on Military Highway at Dundale Avenue. The driver who caused the crash was charged with manslaughter and reckless driving.
Survivors
Officer Spry was survived by his wife, son, father, and four brothers.
