Incident
Patrolman Kenneth Nally succumbed to injuries received in a motorcycle crash in the 4200 block of Old Shepherdsville Road two days earlier. He was escorting a high school football team and spectators to a game when a vehicle pulled out in front of him, causing a collision. He was transported to Louisville General Hospital, where he passed away from head and internal injuries. Patrolman Nally had served with the Jefferson County Police Department for over four years.

He was survived by his parents.
