Incident
PC Brodie was killed in a road traffic accident when, just before 9:00pm, his police patrol car was involved in a three-car collision while on mobile patrol on the A76 near Mennock, Dumfries-shire.
Kenneth had served in the force for four years and was based in Sanquhar. He left a wife and two young children.
A passenger in another car was also killed and his wife died in hospital a week later.
