Incident
Deputy Clark was shot and killed with her own weapon by an inmate she was transporting to prison. During the transport the suspect managed to squeeze through the sliding plexiglas window between the front and back of the cruiser and grab Deputy’s Clark’s weapon. Suspect then shot Deputy Clark twice in the head, which caused the patrol unit to crash. Suspect was later arrested still handcuffed and carrying Deputy Clark’s weapon.
