Incident
Officer Moore was shot and killed as he and his partner entered a disorderly house to investigate illegal activities. The proprietress shot Officer Moore through the chest. Officer Moore managed to return fire, killing her.
Officer Moore had been with the Birmingham Police Department for five years. His father was also a Birmingham police officer.
