Incident

Last night, July 19th 2024, I was staying at the St. Edward's Marriott The Lodge in Kenmore, WA. After dinner, I decided to go for a walk and headed down the grotto trail towards the lake. After an hour or so, I realized I was lost and called 911 to help. A Kenmore police officer called and said he was assigned to assist me. He basically told me to walk back to where I started. Anyway, long story short, he stayed on the phone with me until he located me. I was so glad to see him, I gave him a big hug!! He was very patient with me, stopping to let me catch my breathe as we walked back uphill to the Lodge. At one point, I had my hand on his left shoulder just t keep me upright. He safely delivered me back to the hotel and then left. The waitress in the bar saw his cruiser and was wondering what he was doing, probably because it had been there with the lights on while he was rescuing me. I told her that it was just the officer that rescued me and reassured her he wasn't there regarding any crime. I told her that the officer was with me.
