Incident

Sergeant John Domblisky and Sergeant Danny Tunney were killed when a vehicle crossed over the median and struck their vehicle head-on in the 11000 block of North Seventh Street. The driver of the other vehicle was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the incident. The driver was later found guilty of two counts of negligent homicide and served 7 years. Sergeant Domblisky had served with the Phoenix Police Department for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
