Incident
Trooper John Davis was killed in a single vehicle automobile accident.
He was leaving the scene of a previous accident when his cruiser went out of control and went into a creek. He was flown to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Trooper Davis had been employed with the Tennessee Highway Patrol for 13 years after leaving another agency.
