Incident

Guard Jesse Christian was killed with he was struck on the head during a riot in the mess hall of the Institution for Defective Delinquents in Napanoch, New York.

300 inmates began rioting in the prison's dining hall. Officer Christian was fatally wounded and seven other guards were injured during the incident.

Jesse, On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of New York. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer.
