Incident

Deputy James Allman was killed in a single-vehicle accident while responding to a call of a suspicious person at approximately 1:35 am. During the response, Deputy Allman's cruiser went out of control and struck a tree. He was killed instantly upon impact. A passerby used the radio in Deputy Allman's cruiser to call for help. Deputy Allman had served in law enforcement for 12 years.

Survivors

He was survived by his wife and two sons.
