Incident
Detective Ike Parsons and Deputy Sheriff Arthur Taylor of the Harris County Sheriff's Office were accidentally shot by other officers while searching for a suspect near the intersection of Baron Street and Meadow Street.
They had responded to a call of a man who was terrorizing a neighborhood with a rifle.
Detective Parsons had been with the Houston Police Department for 11 days.
