Guy Holman, Sr.
Incident
Steward Guy Holman was stabbed to death by an inmate at the Wynn Prison Farm. The inmate obtained a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Steward Holman without provocation. The inmate, 32, was shot and critically wounded. He died two weeks later.
Steward Holman had served at the Wynn Prison Farm for 16 years.
Guy, On today, the 75th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Texas. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement then that of a Corrections Officer.
