Incident

Sergeant Gordon James was killed in a vehicle crash when his patrol car was struck in a head-on collision when another driver attempted to pass three buses on Navajo Route 6 seven miles north of Bidahochi, Arizona.

Sergeant James was a Korean War veteran.

Sgt. James, On today, the 60th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but also for our Country when you served during the Korean War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
