Incident

Deputy Constable George Watt was killed in an automobile accident on Route 248, just north of Slippery Rock, as he and a Slippery Rock police officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle.

Both officers were ejected from the vehicle when it overturned on an embankment. Deputy Watt was killed and the policeman suffered serious injuries.

Constable, we honor your sacrifice every day we serve the citizens of the Commonwealth. Rest easy, Semper Fi.
