Incident
Sergeant George Rupp was killed in an aircraft accident while searching for marijuana crops in Ferry County. The plane that he was in began experiencing problems and clipped several trees during an emergency landing after taking off in Republic, Washington. Sergeant Rupp and the three civilian pilots in the plane were all killed.
