George Kowatch III
Incident
State Park Ranger George Kowatch was killed in an automobile crash on California 76, three miles west California 79, in San Diego County near Palomar Mountain State Park. His vehicle went down an 80-foot embankment after he lost control on the rain-slicked road.
Survivors
Ranger Kowatch was survived by his three children.
