Special Constable Evans died in the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary six days after being severely injured when, about 5:25pm on 17th December, he was struck by a van while on night-time point duty at the junction of Osmaston Park Road and Moor Lane, Derby.
Evan is survived by his wife and their daughter.
