Incident

Patrolman Delma Tooman was shot and killed as he was investigating a silent alarm at a restaurant. He was shot above his vest and in the left temple. Another officer on the scene shot the suspect. The suspect survived the shooting and was jailed prior to the preliminary hearing. In an attempt to escape, the suspect planned a fake suicide but ended up killing himself and was found dead in his cell.

Patrolman Tooman is survived by his parents.
