Incident
Patrolman Daniel Rice was killed when his patrol car was broadsided at the intersection of Schoenersville Road and Westgate Drive. Patrolman Rice was a U.S Army veteran of the Vietnam War who served 26 years with the Bethlehem Police Department and received 20 commendations for his service.

He is survived by his wife and three children.
