Incident

Motorcycle Officer Clinton Green was killed when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle at Blount Street and Hayne Street in Pensacola.

While returning from a fire call around noon, heading west on Blount Street when he collided with a vehicle turning left onto Hayne Street. He was transported to Pensacola Hospital, where he succumbed to a fractured skull and internal injuries six hours later.

Officer Green had served with the Pensacola Police Department for 16 years and had recently been promoted to Motorcycle Officer. He previously served with the Louisiana and Nashville Railroad, Escambia County Sheriff's Office, and as a constable with District 2.

Survivors

Survivors include his wife, son, four daughters, two brothers, and two sisters.
