Incident
Sergeant Charles McDaniel was killed in a two-vehicle automobile crash at 14400 Hempstead Road while returning home in his police cruiser following his shift. Sergeant McDaniel was a U.S. Army veteran who served six years and seven months with the Houston Police Department.
Survivors
He was survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, two sisters, and five brothers.
