Incident

Patrolman Charles McGonagle was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on the wet surface of South Main Street in the town of East Longmeadow at 9:30 pm. Patrolman McGonagle was a U.S. Marine Corps WW I veteran and had served with the Massachusetts State Police for three years.
