Died from the fatal injuries he sustained when, about 11:30pm, he was dragged for a mile after catching his foot in a strap trailing from a car as he and a colleague from the Roads Policing Proactive Unit based at Abingdon Police Station, attended a reported burglary and the theft of a quad bike in Stanford Dingley, close to the A4 Bath Road, near Sulhamstead, Berkshire, between Reading and Newbury.
