בן פורטונה ויהודה גלאם. דוד נולד בי"ג באדר תש"י (2.3.1950) בתל אביב. הוא גדל במושב שדה עוזיה. אחרי שסיים את בית הספר היסודי עבר לכפר הנוער ניצנים ולמד במגמת ימאות. בשנת 1968 התגייס דוד לצבא ושירת כמפעיל מכ"מ על ספינת "דבור". המשיך כאיש קבע שנתיים נוספות ביחידה של חיל הים. את מלחמת יום הכיפורים עשה דוד כאיש קבע בתעלת סואץ. בשנת 1974 השתחרר דוד משירות קבע והתגייס למשמר האזרחי. בשנת 1975 הוא התגייס למשטרה. דוד, תושב קריית מלאכי, שימש בתפקידי סיור, היה קצין מודיעין וחקירות בקריית מלאכי ועבר למרחב לכיש למטה חקירות פשעים חמורים. הוא שימש גם כקצין חקירות ראשי במאגר חקירות לכיש. בעקבות חקירת רצח מסובכת לקה רב-סמל בכיר דוד בליבו. הוא נפטר ביום כ"ט בניסן תשנ"ה (28.4.1995). בן ארבעים וחמש בנפלו. דוד נטמן בבית העלמין בכפר ורבורג. הותיר אישה ושלושה ילדים.
