בן מלכה ומוחמד. מוהנא נולד בכפר הדרוזי מג'אר ב -20.12.1948. למד שש שנים בבית הספר בכפרו, ובעקבות המצב הכלכלי של משפחתו נאלץ לעזוב את לימודיו על מנת לסייע בפרנסת המשפחה. מוהנא התגייס למשמר הגבול ב-11.2. 1970, הוצב במג"ב איו"ש ומאז שירת במספר יחידות ובמגוון תפקידים: לוחם, נהג, מבצעי. שירותו במג"ב אופיין במשמעת עצמית גבוהה, מסירות, לויאליות ותפקוד מופתי, על פי חוות דעת מפקדיו. על מוהנא מספרים כולם שהיה אדם בעל יושר, מוטיבציה, מסירות ונאמנות גבוהה. אהב את תפקידו ואת עמיתיו והיה מאד מקובל על הזולת. הוא אהב ספורט, ובמיוחד כדורעף, ונמנה על נבחרת מג"ב איו"ש. ביום 20.5.1994, ערב חג הקורבן, נפטר רב-סמל ראשון מוהנא מדום לב. בן ארבעים ושש בנפלו. הוא הובא למנוחות בבית העלמין האזרחי במג'אר. הותיר אחריו אישה, ארבעה בנים וחמש בנות.
